About Me

Always seeking to freeze that magic moment!

As a child, I've always been more interested in electronics than dolls and makeup, which lead me to secretly nicking my father's SLR cameras with whatever films remaining in them and try to figure out the architect of these machines. Let's just say that my father was never too happy as I'd end up ruining his unprocessed images. Eventually, father figured that it was probably a better idea if he just gave me one of his fancy (of the two he had the not so fancy one) cameras. And it was these moments in my early childhood that I developed my love for photography.

Since finishing my schooling, like most of my peers I went and got a job...whatever job anyone would offer me as a green-eyed marketing graduate that I ended up working in the hospitality industry. For a solid ten years, I enjoyed my time in this industry, more so for the social reasons until one fateful day when my boss mentioned that we need to get some advertising photos done for the shop that I rekindled my love photography.

It was during the birth of digital photography, and to some extent, it's a whole new world to me. The kind photographer that we hired for the shoot was very patient with answering all my tech questions about her craft.

After that meeting, I went on to enrol myself in a digital photography course focused on product and food photography. At that time I wasn't thinking of pursuing it as a career, it was purely to satisfy my curiosity of how digital photography would differ from the good old days of film. But like most things in life the more I dove into my new photography education, the more I thought 'heck, let's give it a shot'.

I've been fortunate to have met many generous individuals in the field who have given me guidance and opportunity towards my career change. Now being in the photography for close to ten years, I've honed my skills and narrowed down the areas that I most enjoy photographing...that is content creation which reflects the reality of life.
